IT for Alaska's small businesses

Running a business in
Alaska is hard enough.
Your IT shouldn't
get in the way.

Whether you're a six-person accounting office in Anchorage, a contractor in the Valley, a Soldotna real estate shop, or a 30-employee nonprofit — we build IT that's right-sized for where you are now and ready for where you're going. No enterprise overkill. No consumer-grade duct tape.

Small-business reality

If any of these sound painfully familiar, we should talk.

"
Our IT guy is whoever on staff is least busy that day.

It works — until it doesn't. We become the team behind your team: a real helpdesk, monitoring that catches problems before your staff does, and an actual plan for the stuff "Karen from accounting" shouldn't be handling.

"
Every IT issue turns into a $200 emergency.

Break-fix billing punishes you for problems you didn't cause. We move you to a flat monthly plan — predictable budget, unlimited support — so the incentive flips toward keeping things working in the first place.

"
We're not sure if our backups actually work.

Most don't — and you find out the day you need them. We deploy off-site, encrypted backups with restore tests on a schedule. If a laptop's stolen, ransomware hits, or someone fat-fingers the wrong folder, you're back in business by lunch.

"
Cyber insurance keeps asking questions we can't answer.

MFA, EDR, backups, training, written policies — carriers want all of it now, even from small shops. We implement what's required and help you fill out the questionnaire honestly, usually for better rates than guessing.

What's included

The IT department you'd build for yourself — if you had time.

One flat monthly plan covers monitoring, unlimited helpdesk, patching, antivirus, backups, Microsoft 365 administration, and more. Projects, hardware, and one-offs are billed transparently. No surprise invoices, no nickel-and-diming.

01

Managed IT & helpdesk

Real humans you can call when something breaks — answering on Alaska time, not from a queue in another hemisphere. Monitoring, patching, and inventory tracking baked in.

02

Microsoft 365 & Google Workspace

Email migrations, shared drives, Teams, licensing right-sized for your headcount, and the security settings most providers leave switched off.

03

Cybersecurity essentials

Endpoint protection (EDR), multi-factor authentication, email filtering, and phishing-awareness training. The four controls that block 95% of small-business attacks.

04

Backups & recovery

Off-site, encrypted, and tested on a schedule — because untested backups aren't backups. Workstations, servers, and Microsoft 365 data all covered.

05

Networks & Wi-Fi

Business-grade routers and access points sized for your space, segmented guest networks so customers and staff aren't on the same network, and Wi-Fi that reaches everywhere you need it.

06

Hardware & procurement

Right-sized workstations, laptops, and peripherals — sourced, imaged, and delivered ready to use. We make it easy with no mystery markups, no upsells, and lifecycle tracking included.

07

Cyber-insurance readiness

We map your controls to what your carrier is actually asking for. Better answers on the questionnaire, usually better premiums, always a more defensible posture if a claim happens.

09

vCIO & technology planning

Quarterly reviews, budget forecasting, and a 12-month roadmap so technology supports where the business is heading — not just where it is today.

Software we support

We speak the tools you actually use.

Trades, retail, professional services, nonprofits — running something niche? Ask. We've probably set it up, broken it, and figured out how to fix it before.

Don't see yours? It's almost certainly something we can support. Most small-business software runs on the same handful of platforms underneath.

Built for how small businesses actually run

The right size of IT.
Not a byte more.

You don't need a Fortune 500 IT department. You don't deserve a teenager's home setup, either. We size what we build for the realities of running a five-to-fifty-person business in Alaska — and rebuild it as you grow.

Right-sized, not over-sold

You get the tools that match your size and risk — not whatever the vendor's biggest tier was that quarter.

Predictable monthly cost

Flat fee for ongoing support. Projects and hardware quoted up front. No "we forgot to mention" invoices.

Scales as you grow

Add a new hire, a second location, a remote worker in Homer — we adjust without forcing you onto a new plan or rebuilding from scratch.

Insurance-ready security

The controls cyber insurance carriers now require — MFA, EDR, backups, training, written policies — implemented and documented.

Common questions

Questions we hear a lot.

Are we too small for a managed IT company?

Our affordable service plans means that even if you are a one man band or have over 50 employees, we can ensure you are more productive and more profitable. Either way, the conversation is free.

What does small-business IT support actually cost?

Our flat-fee managed IT starts at only $45.00 per month, and that includes unlimited IT support, security protection, secure online backups, and even more. We'll quote yours specifically after a free on-site assessment — no surprises, no high-pressure pitch.

We already have a part-time IT person. Can you back them up?

Absolutely. We do plenty of "co-managed" engagements where your internal person handles day-to-day requests and we handle the heavy lifting — security, backups, after-hours, complex projects, vacations. It often costs less than fully replacing them and works better than going it alone.

Will switching IT providers disrupt the business?

Done right, no. We've onboarded plenty of offices and the team usually notices nothing until things start working better. We document everything during a free site assessment, deploy our tools quietly in the background, and only take over once we know we won't drop anything.

Do you work outside Anchorage and the Mat-Su?

Yes — most issues are solved remotely regardless of where you are. We have clients across the rail belt and on the Peninsula, with regular on-site coverage in Anchorage, Eagle River, Palmer, and Wasilla. For travel further out, we plan visits in advance to keep costs reasonable.

Let's make your IT quietly excellent.

Free consultation. Free on-site assessment if we're a fit. Zero onboarding fees. No long-term contract — if we're not earning your business each month, we'd rather know.
